Guide

In some lessons you are provided with a lesson guide -- Google. Google will provide simple instructions or hits on most screens. Press the mouse down on Google to read the instructions. Click on Google if it is unclear what should be done to proceed.

Entering Answers

You can enter numbers via the keypad (NumberLock) or the numbers over the keyboard letters. Press RETURN, ENTER, or TAB to tell the computer to accept the entered number. Use TAB when there is more than on answer to enter. TAB will also go to the next number entry field if there is more than one. Google will let you know if the number entered is correct or not.

Practice Exercises

These sections provide a never ending stream of randomly generated problems. Google will perform some sort of acrobatic stunt for correct answers and stick out his tongue for incorrect answers. If you can not answer a question, after trying, press the forward arrow and the solution will be provided.

Exercises have three skill levels. The Easy level has problems very similar to the ones demonstrated and solved in the lessons. The Normal skill level has problems of the same difficulty level in most textbooks. Getting these problems consistently right indicates a good understanding of the topic. The Hard skill level provides an increased level of difficulty. The hard problems may require an understanding of the other topics covered, in addition to the current section.
